My rate is currently 160$ plus GST as an hourly rate.This is subject to change as my experience and skill level increase with each tattoo. I have a minimum charge of $100 plus GST.

I am not tattooing face, hands, or neck areas at this time.

Yes. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required in order to hold your appointment. If you were to abandon you appointment, this deposit compensates me for the time I have invested in your design. If you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment, please contact me 48 hours prior and we can rebook for a later date. .

The deposit amount will contribute to the final cost of your tattoo.

Currently I require 100$ as a deposit in order to confirm your booking. Please bare in mind that if you drastically change your mind about the design we agreed upon, you may forfeit the deposit. Deposits stay on file for 1 year. After that your deposit will be forfeit. 

I am taking on some cover up projects, on a case by case basis. These always require a consultation if it is a project I am able to take on.  

However, I am looking to take on more tattoo reworks. This is when you have an older tattoo done by another artist that you want a "glow up" for. I recommend an in-person consult so I can take a look at the existing tattoo and talk with you about what your expectations are.

I will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. I will be more than happy to celebrate your 18th birthday with crafting a unique tattoo for you!

I am so excited to be the one to create your first tattoo! It’s very important to have a nutritious meal and a good night’s rest.

Tattoo pain is very subjective and varies between individuals. Some locations for tattoos can be more painful/sensitive (I.e. Chest, Feet..). The length of the tattoo session can also be a factor in pain tolerance. It can feel like tiny scratches on a sunburn. If you are planning to use any numbing products, please let me know so I can help you choose the best product.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy access to the area being tattooed. Be mindful that tattoo ink may end up on your clothing, so choose an outfit that you wouldn’t mind getting ink on. Painfully Pretty Studio has nipple pasties, privacy barriers, and covers to provide you comfort for discreet areas.

Feel free to bring some water and a snack, especially for those longer sessions. 

If you’re planning on using numbing products please let me know ahead of time. Certain products can interact and interfere with the tattoo process. I have products that we may choose to use during your tattoo if I notice you are experiencing heightened discomfort. 

At Painfully Pretty Tattoos we recommend Tattoo Numbing Cream. You can purchase it at our studio ahead of your scheduled appointment. There are other brands like Zensa that are also fine to use. Feel free to get in touch before your appointment and we can discuss further!

Congrats on your little one! I am more than happy to adjust your appointment, and carry over your deposit until your little of bundle of joy arrives, and you have finished nursing. I will not tattoo anyone who is pregnant or nursing.

I offer free colour tests for any clients that are unsure how colour would heal on their skin. It helps if you have a concept/idea in mind for a future design so that we can choose colours that would be included in that piece. 

If you are unsure about which colors you would like to have on your skin, that’s totally okay. I will do a range of colours to see how things heal. Every body is different and that is what makes tattooing so amazing and exciting.

Once the colour test tattoo has healed and settled in the skin after 1-3 months, I can take a look at how the colours have healed. I will discuss with you the vision for your tattoo as well as expectations. Together we will make the best choice for you and your body!

I require a minimum of a 48 hour notice if you are unable to make your appointment. I can reschedule you and Your deposit would move onto the next selected date. I provide up 1 reschedule, and hold your deposit on file for 1 year. If you end up rescheduling past a year of your initial tattoo appointment, or reschedule a 2nd time, your deposit will be forfeit and a new one will be needed.

If a client cancels with less than 48 hours notice, the deposit will be forfeited in order to compensate for my time. 

If you decide to fully cancel your appointment and not reschedule, the deposit will be forfeited since it is non-refundable.

E-transfer and Cash are preferred. I now have a credit/debit machine for your convenience! 

You can definitely bring one support person to your appointment! We have plenty of space at Painfully Pretty Tattoos. Please limit yourself to bringing only one support person to your appointment.
